Certifications Languages

My lessons are structured according to:

elenco Framework, the Common European Framework of Languages;

elenco CILS Certificate of Italian as a Foreign Language.

Common European Framework of Language or Framework.
The Common European Framework for Languages, better known as Framework, appeared for the first time in 1997 (the Italian translation is of 2002) and since then has been a reference for anyone studying or teaching a language. The framework assumes a position of leadership in the analysis of competence in Italian Ls or L2 and then becomes a guide in the creation of a language course. The Framework sets out the descriptive categories of the use of a language and allows to clearly indicate the contents, objectives, results and levels of acquisition achieved

CILS: Certificate of Italian as a Foreign Language.
The CILS is a qualification officially recognized attesting to the degree of linguistic and communicative competence in Italian as L2.
The CILS is the first Italian certification to have adopted a system of six levels of linguistic and communicative competence, proposed by the Common European Framework of Reference of the Council of Europe and It is the first to have achieved certification forms for specific employees of foreign origin in Italy.

The CILS exams are an important goal for all students of the Italian language.

The CILS can be spent on entering the world of work, for the teaching of the Italian language, for enrollment at Italian universities, for any further field of use where it is required a certain level of competence formally certified in Italian. All those who want to see measured their competence in Italian can take an exam CILS.
The exams are not linked to specific teaching methods or kinds of language course: each candidate can prepare certification exams as he considers most appropriate and the most suitable for himself.

The tests may be carried out at the University of Siena or in accredited schools of many cities in the world.
All certification tests are not evaluated by the centers in which they are carried out, but only by the University of Siena. (italian source cils.unistrasi.it)

Certification of Italian language.
In Italy, there are four certificates of competence in Italian officially recognized:

The first three are based on the principle of autonomy of students to prepare for certification exams. The certification PLIDA, however, although recognized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, does not provide for the independence of students in exam preparation, as the license is issued after the course of study organized by the Dante Alighieri Society itself.
